Monaco Yacht Show 2019: Key figures

Now in its 29th year, MYS has become the world yachting event and offers an exceptional superyachts selection  built by the largest shipyards and belonging to the world's largest fortunes. This year, the success of the show continues with some 125 exhibited units, sailing or motor, including 42 world premiere launches.

Kicking off on September 25, MYS is the big « rendez-vous » for all the actors of the market. In total, more than 580 companies exhibit at the Monaco Yacht Show on a total area of more than 40km2, bringing together prospective buyers, superyachts builders and designers, brokers and suppliers. And more than 30,000 visitors are expected, including 20% private customers and a huge part of foreigners (more than 80%).

This year looks set to be its most impressive so far in terms of figures, the average size of the floating yachts is 49.50 meters and 14 units present in Port Hercule exceed 70 meters in length. In terms of gross tonnage, it's the most voluminous fleet of superyachts ever seen in Monaco also with an average around 800 and an average asking price of 37.8millions. 

 In terms of novelties, the new Baglietto 55m T-line, the presence of the "Bold" designed by the famous designer Espen Oeino, the "Dragon" of the Columbus Yachts yard, the 80m Abeking & Rasmussen named Excellence delivered few days ago, the Mangusta Oceano 43, the CRN 135, the very awaited Azimut S10.

The show marks the end of summer on the French Riviera, but the beginning of the yacht show season. Yachtside will not be an exhibitor this year but we will definitely be there to meet our partner and potential future clients and collaborator, hopefully the weather will be perfect.
